Bakersfield Pediatrics

Bakersfield Pediatrics and Valley Children’s Hospital saw great need in Kern County for access to quality care. Through the creative and skillful talents of Itani Design Concepts an existing medical office building near Bakersfield Memorial Hospital was reinvented into a fully-functional children’s clinic. This project received a Beautiful Bakersfield Award.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Existing building structure was renovated with new exterior, and interior plan, to serve as pediatrics office for Bustamante Pediatrics and Valley Children’s Hospital. 6,500Sq.Ft. consisting of reception, waiting room, exam rooms, offices, laboratory, restrooms, conference room and staff lounge.

SCOPE OF WORK: The owner is a collector of fossils and artifacts, and his vision was to turn the center into a museum.Creating art displays was the driving factor behind the design. Worked on floor plan, ceiling and lighting design, finishes, casework design and furniture.
